  • Bloggers are good for my soul

Well, kinda. I work remotely, so I tend to talk to myself a lot. And you of course. And since I don't get out much, and when I do the car radio seems to play the same top 10 hits over and over - and over, how am I ever supposed to find new music? Bloggers, that's how. Hugh just linked to Kat, who has a control that plays music when you ...

  • iTunes 7 - press the eyeball...

I just got iTunes 7 this morning. Installed great and I loved the fact that my iPod showed up with a nice new control panel. It said the iPod needed an update too, so hello v1.2. But hang on. Looking closer I see that my iPod has 20gb free! Uh-oh.. All my movies are gone. During one of the updates it had de-selected the James' ...

  • iPod Owner

Tara is flying to England for two weeks on Monday (don't ask how I will cope with the kids, I don't know yet) so I had a brief period of niceness and popped out and bought her a Video iPod yesterday. I'm so done with the cheap MP3 players. The iPod is nice, but the overall experience was strangely not as nice as I expected. I mean, like I said ...

  • My New CD

I'm back from a great vacation in St. Augustine, FL where we really did have great weather. A few storms in the evenings but otherwise 90 degrees and sunny on the beach. Today I was inspired to create a new CD so I searched my new and old favorites to come up with this compilation. You're going to think some of these are pretty weird; I ...

  • In search of the "Good Times" Video

So, this morning I woke up with a mission - to find the Good Times video that was a freebie on the Windows 95 CD back in the good old days. Remember that? I admit that I loved that song even then, but now it has added reminiscence-value too. So I started Googling. First, I found that it was sung by Edie Brickell, Paul Simon's wife. But googling ...
