I was recommended to use SyncBack - by a lot of very clever people. I hated it. Your previous recommendations have been awesome for me (AnyDVD / CloneDVD).

I've been preparing to look for something that will backup from various computers around the house to one place (probably a USB drive because even though RAID5 capable NAS has come down in price, $1500 is still a bit expensive).

I had previously used a product called Backup Plus by Avantrix (http://www.avantrix.com/backplus.htm). I had it setup on my old work computer and I haven't really thought about it for well over a year. Since I already have a license for that I will probably see if that will work for my needs first.

I do like the idea of Backup4All using zip files, though, rather than a proprietary file format. That is cool.
