Never a good day when you find out you're dead

It's the last day before the Christmas break, and an old colleague sent me a invite to linkup on spock.com - looks like another Plaxo knockoff at first glance.

Having never visited this site before I thought I'd search for myself. This is what I saw..

I'm saddened to hear of your passing, but you were a fairly old dude, being born in 1798 and all. ... and we barely even knew ye.

I worked at a public library while going to college. One day I searched the database for authors using my name. It returned a book by a doctor about how to get pregnant ;) Discovered your site about a year ago and enjoy it. Have a great Christmas and New Year!

"fairly old dude" LOL Nice one Dan! Merry Christmas James, it was good to see you and get at least one of the beers you STILL owe me. :-)

Hehe. I knew you were old, but I had no idea your birth year was pre-automobile. =) Spock is actually a pretty good people search engine, the best I have seen online so far. I love that it assigned that picture to you!
