I have a strange problem that I know would probably fix itself if I rebooted, but I have 3 MSI's building right now and frankly I'm amazed my keyboard is responsive enough for me to type this.
How about this one then: When someone IM's me and the New Message sound gets played, it plays through my headphones.
Just that sound.
All other beeps, wave files, mp3, etc go to my speakers. My volume icon opens my speakers volume control. My default sound device is my speakers. I have iTunes playing music right now - through my speakers.
I really hope that my XP Pro isn't being slowly upgraded to Vista piece-by-piece by Windows Update each night. I've already got it on good authority that one morning in the next few weeks I'll sit down here and my IE6 will have been uninstalled "for me", replaced with IE7. .
