NUnit is green

I love the smell of green in the morning.

I'm in the middle of a huge refactoring project and although I'm working in VSTS my old habits made me stick to NUnit that the tests were originally written in.

I haven't even looked to see if VSTS will be able to use my tests as-is..but should I even try? NUnit is like an old pair of slippers now, and isn't gonna die just yet apparently.

But that's all for another day. For now let me bask in the soft green glow of my jolly happy LCD's.

VSTS introduced new attributes and namesspaces. So, no, Nunit tests will not work with VSTS right out of the box. You have a few options. You can create custom using statements (if you're C#'arping it) that allow you to rename VSTS's attributes to NUnits. If you are interested in switching permanently and cleanly - James Newkirk, Scott Densmore and a few others wrote a NUnit to VSTS Conversion Utility that you might be interested in. http://blogs.msdn.com/jamesnewkirk/archive/2005/12/18/505322.aspx
