Welcome to British Inside

Cake My first ever post on Community Server 2.1! Party!!!

I decided to use this new domain to allow me to setup CS independantly, writing a tool to migrate posts across from www.CoverYourASP.NET and generally get everything configured as I'd like. It still isn't perfect - I haven't migrated comments across yet.

But I'm here; I can check off that annoying GTD task "Move CYA to CS".

I'll blog more about the migration and the tool I wrote to do it, and how I created the custom header image and still keep the postit note and shadow. I needed to bug the creative team to release the original file because you can't do this without the layered image. I have permission to share the psd too, so that'll be coming!

In many ways, it was good timing doing this work now, amidst the flurry of a major release, because I've been able to do a lot of testing, find bugs and make suggestions that would have been hard otherwise.

But enough blogging for now. The CS 2.1 RC-that-might-become-the-RTM build needs uploading..
