Community Server 2.1 RC1 is up there for download. Obviously it's the best release yet and it's I'm now officially an enthusiast. Yeah, I've worked at Telligent for almost a year now but only recently full-time on the CS team.

It's a great team, but getting my new blog site setup on CS has finally got me involved in the product. My site has been setup for almost a week now in fact, but I'm working on scripts to move the data from here to there and retain as much information as possible.

It's tough to do using plain SQL scripts, at least for me. Trying to transfer my categories to CS' tags was the straw that broke my back. I threw away the scripts at that point and start a console app that is going to do the transfer - sometimes you just have to go back to real programming to get something done.

It's a week late, I know. Just don't be so bloody impatient.

..and talking of bloody. It's funny I should mention that. I've been getting a lot of comments over my new site's graphic design that features a close-up of one of my tattoo's, can you imagine?
