MVP Goodies
UPDATE: ALL GONE!! You can stop grovelling now..
Like all Microsoft MVP's, I was recently stunned to receive a small package from Microsoft that contained three metal tokens that we can give away to friends, family, good causes etc.
What's special about these tokens? They entitle the holder to a free one year subscription to the top-of-the-range MSDN Premium Subscription with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite.
And I can give them away! Who likes me?
The thing is, each token is for over $10,000-worth of software.
This is going to make three someones very happy, but how to decide? A lot of my friends are MVP's already, but some are not.
Becoming an MVP or ASPInsider is really cool, but I'm always surprised when I find out that someone I know and respect isn't a member of these groups. So consider this a form of MVP scholarship - if you're a friend or a friend-of-a-friend and aren't an MVP yet, don't have an MSDN subscription and would *really* like one, drop me a line or post a comment.
Remember though, I only have three.
But most of all, you must have a need and actually use it. I can't think of anything worse than giving this away and it never gets used.
