Submitting Forms Offline

Caveat - this tool/capability may already exist. If it does, it needs much better marketing behind it because I want this.

I want to publish blogs while offline. No internet connection in sight.

All i hear about is support for executables that post to metablogapi blogs or similar things - buy you know what? I'm happy with my browser. I want to publish my blogs the same way I learned to, using the website tools I know. Sue me.

So, on the plane the other night I realized - all I really want is a plug-in to my browser that improves the web site cache that already exists. It allows me to view my publish page, fill it in and hit submit. It stores the posted data on disk and when I go online it notices and immediately posts the data.

Of course, this works for anything and anybody, not just blogs. If I've visited a page before I can visit it again and post more data. I guess it's not much help with today's shopping carts, but sending emails/posting comments etc would work.

Perhaps IE7 could have this baked in?

I could browse all these results from Google, but I'd rather hear if you guys are using something that does this nicely..
