Two Outlooks?
I'd really like to use two copies of Outlook at once. I have it set just the way I like with a gazzilion rules and auto-archive settings, and NewsGator and SpamBayes installed and keeping me running smoothly. It accesses 3 different POP3/SMTP servers.
But now working for Telligent I need access to that Exchange Server too. I'm using OWA for now and it works well for what it is, but there are some things it lacks.
I have set up Exchange on another Outlook profile but I don't think I can access my POP3 accounts too from that profile. And I can't run two separate Outlook profiles at once.
What to do?
Oh. Perhaps this whole post was a waste of both our time - I just ran Outlook with the Exchange profile and there is the option of adding POP3 email accounts too. So perhaps I can just add them into the new profile. Interesting - I wonder where the emails go from my POP3 account - to Exchange Server?
I really should have posted this to my email expert friends first, but hey, if you can explain how Exchange works with Outlook and POP3, you know what to do..
