Link Love Day
BlogDay, Link Love Day, call it what you will but Hugh's idea is pretty cool. I skipped past it this morning, but Rick reminded me by sending me a big hunk of link love a few minutes ago. Thanks Rick.
So, who to promote? I looked through my subscriptions to see who I love reading the most, but (without licking any part of anyone's anatomy) I found that my #1 fave blog is Rick's - primarily because he writes such good stories every day. Everything is about doing business well, with passion.
Link 1. So, if you arrived here from somewhere other than The Post Money Value, head there now.
I just wish he hadn't linked here first; makes me look a right slimeball.
Ok, so who next? Umm, well I was going to blog tomorrow about this artist I just discovered (not literally, I mean I just found his work in a store). I don't think he blogs, but his prints are emotional.
I'm a sentimental schmuck, but luckily I'm also *cough* over 250 lbs so not many people take the piss. (American translation: make fun of me in a nasty way)
For example (and I hope that sending traffic/customers makes up for the coming copyright violation), here are the words written on some of his prints that I just bought:
There has never been a day when I have not been proud of you, I said to my daughter, though some days I'm louder about other stuff so it's easy to miss that.

They came to sit and dangle their feet off the edge of the world and after awhile they forgot everything but the good and true things they would do someday.

Sometimes you just need the right accessory, she said & I said I know, sometimes it takes me an hour to pick the right head & she just ignored me.
Link 2. Of course, you miss something without the picture and presentation, but you can see all that on his web site. For you manly men out there, check this out for any anniversaries, birthdays or Christmas presents for any ladies in your life. I kid you not, there will be tears.
So, now to pick a geeky guy blog from the many I read, not an A-lister but one that is clever, interesting and posts regularly.
Link 3. Ahh, yes, that would be Mike Campbell at AngryPets
Mike is also the guy to talk to if you need your SQL Server db reviewed. He's done mine and a number of multi-million row, high traffic ones too.
