Sanity checks
Great blog from Rick today about preparing for Rude Q&A.
I do something similar with my wife believe it or not. She's not afraid to tell me I'm a stupid prick, so whenever I have "a great idea" I always summon up the courage to ask her first.
She doesn't drink my kool-aid, no siree. A good few of my schemes have fallen foul of this sanity check. As Rick says, don't expect potential investors to be on board even if they agree to meet with you.
Assume they actually are wise in what they invest and think "what is the worst question they could ask?". I bet you know that question, don't you. It's the one that you've thought about occasionally but managed to justify ignoring it.
The trouble is, that is the correct question.
