Wasting time in LAX
Back to business this morning, but before I start let me say that from now on I shall always try and get a 7 hour stopover between my flights through LA!
I thought flying in from NZ at 3:10 and not flying to ATL until 10:30 was going to be a PITA, but it was great!
I just hopped in a cab and headed for the beach - Redondo was recommended, but I ended up walking a mile or two to the far superior Hermosa Beach. The popular bars/restaurants there were just too popular for me so I got one road over from the beach and found Pedone's sports bar on Hermosa Ave.
A few beers, excellent pizza and wall-to-wall basketball vs reading a book in LAX was an easy choice!
