In search of the "Good Times" Video

So, this morning I woke up with a mission - to find the Good Times video that was a freebie on the Windows 95 CD back in the good old days. Remember that?

I admit that I loved that song even then, but now it has added reminiscence-value too.

So I started Googling. First, I found that it was sung by Edie Brickell, Paul Simon's wife. But googling can be really sensitive some days, so try as I might I didn't get much closer than buying the track on MSN music or some similar site. 99 cents later I had the track. So far, so good.

Still no video though, but after a day out I returned to Google again. This time I tried "Edie Brickell Good Times video" (no quotes though) and found it on the 2nd page (yeah, hindsight is 20/20 - I tried many other combinations before this, smartass)

So, if you haven't got a Win95 CD any longer, visit the generous people at the Hobbes OS/2 Archive where you can download the AVI.

Ahhhh, memories.

Update: Jane asked about the other music video on the CD; it was Weezer singing "Buddy Holly". Find that movie at Sitcoms Online..
