  • Fraudulent Orders

This morning another fraudulent order was trapped by our payment processor RegSoft. They are doing an impressive job of catching the stolen credit cards using a variety of methods.

If there is a source code purchase I actually double check the order myself, to make sure the phone number and IP address matches the street address amongst other things (the CC company has already checked the card matches the street address of course) - but so far only good orders have come through.

FYI, most fraudulent orders are made from Singapore. In fact, so far, ONLY fraudulent orders have come from the Far East, no real customers.

One guy has tried 4 times, once a month with different stolen credit cards and addresses in MN, AL, FL and LA. But the same Singapore IP and email address at troihanoi.com.

I'm tempted to send him an email with a virus-containing EXE as the "installation program", but that would be too mean, right?
